Supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder : from diagnosis to dignified adulthood

Over 1 in 50 children and youth in Canada have been diagnosed with autism
Thousands more adults remain underserved.
We support the identification and matching to urgent services, family navigation, employment programs and community housing to create long-term independence and dignity for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Why now ?

- The most recent national surveys show roughly 1 in 50 (≈2.0%) Canadian children and youth diagnosed with autism.
- Evidence now suggests adult autism prevalence near ~1.8% — highlighting a massive lifelong need for services, not only childhood supports.
- Ontario alone faces a crisis: more than 60,000 children are waiting for core clinical services (OT, SLP, ABA, mental health), leaving families without timely support.
Public systems can’t scale fast enough.
Philanthropy can fund:
- immediate relief (therapy scholarships, short-term staffing)
- system-change pilots (waitlist-reduction models), and
- long-term solutions (housing, employment pathways)
