Who We Are
Founder's Note
Welcome to The Living Autism Foundation (Canada)
This organization was born from a simple but powerful belief — that every individual diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder deserves not just services, but the right to thrive.
In Canada today, far too many children and adults are caught in endless waitlists, unsupported transitions, and systems that weren’t built with them in mind. As someone who has seen firsthand the gaps, the challenges, and the quiet strength of families navigating them, I knew we needed to build something bigger than a single program.
The Living Autism Foundation isn’t just another nonprofit. We are a movement to bridge the service gap — to turn compassion into action, policy into progress, and individual stories into lasting change.
Our mission is clear:
- To support the identification and funding of immediate access to critical services.
- To accelerate inclusion for adults and youth alike.
- To champion research and advocacy that creates systemic, national impact.
But none of this is possible without you.
Every visitor, every donor, every partner is part of this living, growing foundation. Together, we can build a future where autistic individuals don’t just survive within the system — they shape it.
Thank you for believing in this vision.
Thank you for standing with us.
